Welcome to The Dog Lodge, located at Etchden Court Farm.
However long you require our services, you can rest assured that your dog will be treated like one of our family. Should you choose to board two or more four-legged friends from the same household, sharing a kennel just like at home is of course possible.
At The Dog Lodge, we take your dog’s vital nutrition very seriously. For many pets, a sudden change in environment is enough to put them off their food and cause them stress. Therefore, wherever possible, we highly recommend making only minimal dietary changes.
Fresh water is readily available at all times and frequently changed for freshness.
Food preparation is always carried out wearing gloves and using the correct protocols to protect all of our lodgers and staff. All food and drinking receptacles are cleaned after every use and thoroughly disinfected at least once a week. All receptacles, toys and bedding are regularly checked for damage and replaced where necessary.
We will talk you through your pet’s food schedule and any dietary restrictions, allergies, medications, long or short-term illnesses or injuries, along with any other information that we may need or that you feel is important for us to know about your beloved pet at the time of booking. Any special requirements, allergies or intolerances will need to be declared when booking your pet’s stay with us. It is of utmost importance that we have as much information about your furry friend as possible.
To board at The Dog Lodge, your dog must have received all required routine vaccinations, including the kennel cough vaccination at least four weeks before their scheduled arrival date. Valid proof of vaccination must be provided before their stay. You can find further information by reading our Operating Procedures.

HEALTH
We have an affiliated veterinarian on-call 24/7 here at The Dog Lodge. If we have ANY concerns about your pet they will be called upon immediately for advice in the first instance and then a treatment plan will be discussed with you immediately before any further action is taken.

FITNESS
Consideration is always given to life stage, physical and mental health and breed when planning and constructing each dogs individual exercise plan.
Mental and enrichment stimulation can be just as tiring as running around a field for an hour and as we know – a tired dog is indeed a happy dog!
SAFETY
We understand that trusting the care of your faithful and adored companion to any other person, let alone a qualified but still, virtual stranger! With an on site manager and 24 hour monitored CCTV surveillance, your pet is in safe hands with our team at The Dog Lodge at Etchden Court Farm.

COMFORT
With brand new, high quality seasonal bedding and custom built kennels and chalets complete with a special state of the art air-filtration systems your pet will be living in the lap of luxury here at The Dog Lodge. When setting out and planning your furry friend’s stay at with us it is important that we gather as much information as possible from you to ensure we are able to make your pet as comfortable as possible during his or her stay –
