The Dog Lodge at Etchden Court Farm is a safe haven for dogs whose owners are absent from the home for any length of time. We can take care of everything that your dog needs and provide them with the facilities for their very own luxury holiday at every animals dream location – Etchden Court Farm. 

However long you require our services you can rest assured that your dog will be treated like one of our family. Should you choose to board two or more four legged friends sharing a kennel (just like at home) then this is of course possible.

At The Dog Lodge , we take your dog vital nutrition very seriously, for many pets a sudden change in environment is enough to put them off their food and cause them stress, therefore wherever possible we highly recommend making only very minimal dietary changes.

Fresh water is readily available at all times and frequently changed for freshness.
Food preparation is always carried out wearing gloves and using the correct protocol at all times to protect all of our Lodgers and Staff. All food and drinking receptacles are cleaned after every use and deep disinfected at least once a week. All receptacles, toys, bedding are regularly checked for damage and replaced regularly.

We will talk you through your pet’s food schedule and any dietary restrictions, allergies, medications, long or short term illnesses or injuries and any other information that we may need or that you feel is important for us to know about your beloved pet at the time of booking. Any special requirements, allergies or intolerances will need to be declared when booking your pet’s stay with us. It is of upmost importance that we have as much information about your furry friend as possible. 

In order to board or have your pet attend Day Care with the Dog Lodge or they will need to have received their most up to date yearly booster injections for all diseases associated with dogs – this includes but is not limited to kennel cough, your dog(s) must have had kennel cough vaccine at least 6 weeks prior to booking date, as well as routine vaccinations prior to boarding. Please provide proof of these vaccinations when visiting Etchden Court Farm.  You can find further information about this by reading our Operating Procedures.
